I have defriended blindfold. A little sad about it, but there are lines, and I don't want to be a part of a community that doesn't recognize them. Also IDK if I will ever write anything ever again anyway.
Watching Alcatraz. Another show that takes place in some version of San Francisco that's 85% white. Um okay. And lol at a character saying "that hill looks about right." Dad's response: "it's called Telegraph Hill where I come from."
Bought a new dress on modcloth today! It's on super, non-refundable sale, so I really really hope it fits.
eta: okay this show is taking SO MANY liberties with reality. They're tracking some guy who bought a rifle from what appears to be an actual gun store, right? Except, well, I'll let Wikipedia explain:
The gun laws of California are some of the strictest in the United States. Residents must submit an application for the purchase of each firearm; the applications are reviewed and approved by the California Department of Justice. A Handgun Safety Certificate, obtained by passing a written test, is required for handgun purchases. Handguns sold by dealers must be "California legal" by being listed on the state's roster of handguns certified for sale. Private sales of firearms must be done though a licensed dealer. All firearm sales are recorded by the state, and have a ten-day waiting period.
But I guess waiting for the application to go through wouldn't make for good TV. :/
