Me and Cas.
Look, if you haven't figured this out already, I like the character of Castiel. He isn't my favorite character, but I like what he adds to the show. I like shipping him with Sam. It is fun!
But what I like even better than Castiel is having a coherent storyline. If it makes sense to write Cas out of the show for the storyline to proceed, that's fine with me. The show is about Sam and Dean. That's what I expect to see and frankly, I'm a little confused that some people seem to expect something else. I would personally really like to see Cas get a redemption arc because I have a certain amount of emotion invested in him as a good guy, but not before he does some CRAZY SHIT.
This is because Castiel the mysterious gray character who may or may not be on the Winchesters' side is like MASSIVELY MORE INTERESTING TO ME than some ~perfect angel who looooooooves Dean and Sam.
Things I would like to see Cas do:
- destroy cities (please feel free to create fanart of this)
- try to kill Sam and Dean
- possibly kill Sam and Dean
- be evil
- be creepy
- try to kill Sam and Dean some more
- take on other, non-Jimmy vessels
- be epic
- eventually realize that he needs to stop fucking with humans and apologize, and which point he will turn into a unicorn that Sam and Dean can ride around a meadow
