EXCITED!
It's Friday! Yay!
This isn't a proper pimping post, but I am really excited because I finally got started on something I have wanted to do for at least a year - start up a successor to the spn_50states challenge. If you're not familiar with it, it was a challenge where writers and artists created fanwork that was really location specific, based around the US. Unfortunately for me (and a lot of other people) the last time it was run was in 2007. Ages ago, I PMed the comm owner asking if I could take it over, and she never responded. I was busy, so I sort of forgot about it.
Anyway, today I was thinking about it, and I said, "fuck it, why not?".

Anyway, right now I'm thinking signups at the beginning of September, posting period maybe...mid-December-mid-January? 5 people per state, 2000 word minimum, gen and all pairings okay. Thoughts?
(I know there are lots of other things going on, but is there any time when that isn't the case in this fandom?)
