relief/disappointment
I finally did get the boot from spn_las. I said a few days ago that I was pretty much expecting it to happen, so I'm not really surprised. Obviously I am disappointed to some extent - it's never fun to be told that your story isn't great - but I am also kind of relieved, just because as the pool got smaller and smaller, it became more stressful and less fun.
Still, a good experience overall, and one that I think has improved my writing.

eta: in retrospect, I still like the idea behind this story, but I wasn't able to express my ~vision of how it should go within a thousand words. (It was like 999 words long and I had to cut stuff to get it to that point.) Note to self: rewrite as a proper fic some day.
