I want to make a comprehensive list of all of the active LJ communities in SPN fandom.

Before I start on this quest, let's do a poll.

Well, I've never seen one, and I have actually looked in the past. Maybe I didn't look hard enough?

okay, I totally found a list at the wiki, but it is old and hasn't been updated in a long time. It's also arranged in a less user-friendly way than my vision of the list would be (imho, of course). So I could update that or change the one I've (just barely) started.

I have looked in the past, but it's possible I didn't look in the right place. omg I started and I've already discovered like ten active comms I had no idea existed. Seriously this was a truly insane idea.

I like lists too! I found a list at the wiki now, but idkkkkk it's not very good and it hasn't been updated in a long time. I'm going to put things in more distinct little categories and subcategories so things will be easy to find.

OR I could just edit the wiki?

Define active. Like year around active? Daily posting active? Or just existing? I mainly use spnstoryfinders and supernaturalfic. There are other communities, but usually they have a specific purpose and die down until their purpose is revived again (blindfold_spn/spnink_meme/reverse big bang, etc)

I figure if has at least a couple posts in the last month, it's active. Comms with specific timelines like blindfold and big bang are in a different category.

I didn't answer your poll, because I'm somewhat scared to know. And are we talking active communities?

There is a list, but it's old, outdated, and is set up in a way that isn't particularly easy to find stuff. Mine would have a bunch of different categories and subcategories so it would be easy to find stuff based on what you're specifically looking for.
