+ It's raining. This means everything will soon be green. The weather patterns here in CA so different from the eastern part of the country. Because it doesn't rain in the summer here, everything turns brown. When it starts raining in the fall, it turns green, and because it doesn't get cold enough to freeze, it stays green all winter. The first time I was ever in the eastern part of the US was in the middle of summer and I was so shocked by how green everything was.
