a) Wow! You read that fic fast.

b) No, Max is DEFINITELY not fat. I've seen my fair share of fat cats. I would not put Max in that category. Although he probably is fatter than he was since you found him as a stray and now he's healthy.

I did read it fast! I was looking forward to that one, so when I saw it pop up on my flist, I immediately went to it.

I guess he's fat by Bulgarian street cat standards.

Oh, Roman Holiday is one of my favorite movies ever. I'm so excited there is a big bang about it. And I like that author, so yay!

How big is the cat, really? Mine is on a diet now, but he was 23 pounds before that, I'm not shitting you. That's a fat cat, 23 pounds. He's done to 18 now.

That's not even remotely...for christ sake, my sister's kittens weigh that much and their like 14 months old. I must learn how to upload pictures on my LJ. You need to see my boys. They're huge.

To be fair, they are technically wild cats - the oldest one is the father and he was a stray and when I brought him into the vet, the vet was like "Um, where did you get him, this isn't a domestic cat." They determined him to be about 5 generations removed from a pure wild cat. Then he had babies and the boys are just as big as him. But even their extra large bone structure, doesn't account for their big fat bellies. Huge babies.

Eight pounds? My boys would squish him and not even realize he was under there. Hence, you know, the diet.
