As I drifted off to sleep last night, my brain came up with the idea that I need to actually write to Sera Gamble and tell her that she CANNOT just fucking kill Lisa off in S6
( Read more... )
I'm going to be really, really sad/disappointed if S6 opens with Lisa dying or Dean and Lisa having marital problems. :\ But it seems like one or the other is really likely, so I don't even know.
Sera Gamble wrote Heart, which had the exact same trope, but she is also apparently the one who wanted the Big Baddie in S3 - S4 to be female, which I thought was awesome. I just really, really want there to be more female characters in the next season, any possible wank be damned.
What I really want is for Lisa to kick Dean out because he is so fucked up. But I'm not really sure how Sam fits into that.
Basically, I want to see a woman with some agency. So far I have not found Lisa's behavior very believable, but they have a little while to fix that, I guess.
Yeah, her behavior has been a little bit unbelievable, but I always attributed it to the fact that they didn't actually have that much time in S5 to develop her character and how her character feels about Dean.
I guess I'm rooting for them to stay together, even though I know I will be disappointed.
I have to say that I do not want them to stay together. Their relationship barely exists. I don't think they have any kind of stable foundation for a relationship and Dean is pretty cuckoo as it is. I'm not...idk, inherently anti-Lisa (I'm not a wincester or a d/cer) but if Dean's going to settle down, I'd like it to be a little more stable.
It's just weird to me as it is. Why is she so happy to have him around? Why are we supposed to think she even wants to have a serious relationship with him? Okay, he saved her son's life, so I can see her being grateful and not wanting to throw him out on the street, but that doesn't necessarily means she's ready to play happy families. I'm just...puzzled.
We still don't know if they're actually playing happy families. Maybe Lisa is letting Dean just stay with them while he's recovering because of her gratitude for saving Ben? That would make sense to me.
