Gangsters and Bootleggers
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Guy Pearce, Gary Oldman, and Mia Wasikowska have joined the cast of the upcoming film The Wettest County in the World. Tom Hardy, Shia LaBeouf, and Jason Clarke are also part of the cast.
The movie is based on the novel of the same name by Matt Bondurant, which is based on the true story of Bondurant's grandfather and great uncles, who ran a large moonshining operation in Virginia during Prohibition.
This actually sounds like a great story; I'm very interested to see this movie. It's scheduled to start filming at the end of February and will be directed by John Hillcoat.
