I finally forced myself out of my earlier Tryptophan coma in order to tell all you LJ folks how thankful I am for both your friendship and your entertaining (and oftentimes enlightening) posts. Unrelated to Thanksgiving: The US trailer for Another Year finally appeared online this week. I've been waiting for this movie be released in US theatres since the spring when it first started getting major buzz during the Cannes Film Festival. The film was written and directed by the always amazing Mike Leigh (Vera Drake, Secrets & Lies), plus it has an incredible cast that includes: Jim Broadbent, Ruth Sheen, Imelda Staunton, David Bradley, and Lesley Manville (also known as the first ex-Mrs. Gary Oldman and a very talented stage actress).
