Oi, Mattie, did you give the landlord his rent for last month? I know Dad sent his part of the tab and I left mine on the counter... It's just that when I was leaving for class he did that whole thing where he stares at you as you walk down the stairs past his room looking like he's about to foam at the mouth. And I couldn't be all heroic and make an awesome face back because if we owe him money he could threaten to kick us out and all that jazz [not like he really would, who else would pay for our awesome flat?)
