Whoa jeez. Some psycho soccer mom verbally bitch slapped me at work today. I supposedly didn't make her Low Cal Soy Extra Pump Double Shot Caramel Macchiato the way she liked, and according to our new policy means that she can hound me into making it over and over again until she's satisfied.

She's lucky I'm nice to my elders, and that I'd get ( Read more... )

That's a weird policy. They just let them steal and leave without reacting? How strange. I thought theft was frowned upon.

I should come by soon.... I love the way you make hot chocolate.

I could whip out the rule book for you, but I lost mine a few months back. Basically the workers with more hours tell us to leave it alone whenever we see someone making off with something from the rack in front of the counter. It's so frustrating, because I know I can catch them, and they seem to get satisfaction with doing something wrong like that. It's not fair to society that they get their few minutes of adrenaline and bragging rights after ripping off a company and other, decent customers.

Hey, you should! Just not during the rush periods! It's like a zoo in Starbucks during certain hours of the day.

But that's just stupid! What kind of boss do you have? O.o

Yeah. I'll come by when I see the least amount of people in there. I have Thursdays off from school, so maybe then.

That's actually Starbucks policy. I'll give you the exact rule once I remember it...

Thursday after the lunch rush and right before the after school/after work rush is the best time!

Ah, here we go... Its actually to do with employee safety. Incase the person stealing attacks when we chase after them. Not like I couldn't take them, but the company would rather not risk it. Which I guess I get.

Hm... Guess that makes a little sense. Wouldn't want their workers hurt.

Hah, I have no doubt in your abilities x3
