so...fuck some more of father's day i say! March is the most amazing month<3
I had this convo today about baseball and I realized how much I missed playing and how if the person I was talking to lived closer, I'd ask them to go play catch in the middle of the night with me. The last time I had an urge to throw with someone in the middle of the night/7 pm, it was way dark and she wasn't so good at catching and had a new glove, so it bounced off of the tip and gave her a black eye(sorry Amanda!)
I miss it. A lot. I miss saturday mornings and clay and cleats and bright yellow balls and the sound that the bats make when you are hitting in the batting cages(which is completley different than when you are on the field) and the slushies afetr the game and the awful uniforms and the socks(which I still wear every now and then) and the pop-up catches and the dogs and the crazy cheers about superman and newspapers and the harsh helmet foam against pierced ears...i could really go on for days but I'll stop.
It's 3:18 am now...I should be asleep. I haven't slept well since Wednesday, and I am completley content with that. I CANNOT WAIT UNTIL FRIDAY!! DUUUUUDE-Liam and Me, Hence Reverie, Mae, and Yellowcard(which, hoenstly, I could do without) and then everyone from Jersey!!! Oh god...can't contain my excitement.
I love this shit.
I love life right now.
It's good and it's hearty and chunky like Cambells soup
and it's massive and unplanned and day-by-day
not everyday is as good as the next, but everyday makes the last seem better and better and makes the future so much brighter
