Even though I was knitting through it, or maybe because I was knitting through it, I kept thinking, "I wonder if anyone makes yarn the color of that blue on the top of Oscar's head?" "I wonder if I could find a red-and-white stripey sock yarn that I could use to make a shawl that looks like Lola's dorsal fin/hair/whatever?" "I wonder how I could get that shiny, iridescent look with yarn?" Etc.
