Last night was Beautiful and Perfect...
Things have been crazy busy lately.
I had finals, and then I was cramming in the last of my 80 hours of training at work. Aaron was working over a lot, and he is doing some security work out at the track on the weekends for the month of may.
The only time we'd had to spend together were big cookouts and stuff like that. We hadn't done anything just the two of us for a very long time. So, Sunday night I made him promise that Tuesday night, since I didn't have to work that he wouldn't work over so that we could do something just the two of us.
So...we decided to pack a picnic dinner and go to the park.
He came by my house on the way home to pick me up...and he brought me flowers! :-D Then, we ran over to his house really quickly so he could change out of his office clothes and we could grab Rusty (his dog) to take him to the park with us.
At the park we climbed this rather large hill to eat our pb&j's on a a giant fuzzy blanket as we watched the sun set. Then we watched the moon and the stars come out one by one, and took pictures of each other and cuddled on the blanket and tickeled each other.
And it was just beautiful, and perfect, and exactly what I needed last night...
I feel like the luckiest girl on the earth. And to think that I almost turned him away...I can't imagine life without him now...
