Disclaimer: Doctor Who is not mine. If it was, I'd be able to watch everything before Nine and understand HALF of what you guys are talking about a quarter of the time!

Her friends have noticed a change, but they say nothing. She is still as talkative as ever, but she also has bouts of utter silence, and it makes them uncomfortable. They also can’t understand how on Earth she missed the whole planets in the sky-thing.

They’ve stopped trying to convince her that it happened.

It’s probably just spillover from Lance... even if it’s been over a year.

She’s noticed a change as well, but she just blows it off as one of those ‘someone just walked over your grave’-moments. But there are times when she wonders.

Especially when her mother stops nagging her to do this or that.

She’ll find herself sitting on the bench in the park, watching the kids play and her mind will go blank. She doesn’t know why, but there’s something about the park.

She was out with the girls when one of them remembered she had library books to return. She couldn’t explain the feeling, but she knew she didn’t want to be in the building, so she made up a missed phone call and hurried outside to wait for them there.

She’s starting a new temp job one morning and still can’t decide what to wear. As she looks into the closet, she glances down and realizes she owns three pairs of Converse trainers. She doesn’t even remember buying them, let alone ever considering owning the footwear in the first place.

She doesn’t know why she doesn’t get rid of them.

She glances out the window while doing the dishes and sees her grandfather sitting in this chair, staring up at the sky. She should go out there and sit with him, she thinks... But she’s seen the sky. It’s not that exciting. A few minutes later, she pulls her coat a bit tighter around herself and trudges up the hill with a hot cup of coffee.

Every now and then, she gets the feeling that someone is watching her. But she doesn’t worry so much, because she doesn’t feel like her life is in danger.

Just that there’s someone watching.
