Weatherby Swann is a no nonsense businessman, President and CEO of Royal Records, who rather likes the label's biggest star, James Norrington - a man who has no reason for gossip to follow him or his career. Norrington is the kind of man Swann wants his songwriting-daughter, Elizabeth, to associate with. However, thanks to a chance meeting with one of agent Cutler Beckett's talents, Elizabeth is starting to write songs that fit the music stylings of rock group Black Pearl. She's taken by the rebellious lead singer, Will Turner, while the band's original member, Jack Sparrow, is taken by her....
