I love Natalie Portman as an older Ozma, but the age difference between her and Jared Gilmore makes the transformation fall flat for me. That said, I have no pre-teen actress to replace her with, so I'm stumped. I love all the other casting choices and I want Matt Smith as Jack Pumpkinhead NOW!
*Snort* That sounds like the beginning of the reasons that I pull out the movie to make my own. But I don't have the Professional so first I'd have to start with buying it. :)
It depends on the artwork, honestly. Recent example: I'm writing an alt-ending for the Dark Knight Rises (technically it swerves away from the screen version after sixty-five minutes) and wrote a chapter with the cops from the chase scene during the Occupation. So I included screen shots to illustrate these names go with these faces. Only Jensen (the kid who shot at Batman) doesn't have a good still, plenty of animated gifs but no still, so I grabbed my own. Went ahead and grabbed an extra to become Montoya, because damnit I want a Montoya in the Nolanverse now.
Taking a picture of my own pirate hat to put on Betsy is an older example. But I'll freely admit it's a quirk of my perfectionism. It's probably a good thing I didn't go into visual arts. :p
