And, the look on his face in the background... it's scary how long that scene has been blocked in my head, right down to the knowledge her shirt is red and he's still dressed in all black

random fact: The original plot for this was that they were going to go over to Santa Barbara, because he needed to open up the house (naturally, his family lived on the beach) .. but, by the time I got back to fiddling with it, his mother was alive. LOL
