There was quite a bit of activity in the house that night. The womenfolk were rushing in and out, bringing fresh towels or heading to the kitchen for more hot water. The menfolk were gathered in the parlor, talking about anything except what was going on upstairs.
After a few hours, cries of the woman of the house were replaced by the cries of a newborn.
The men congratulated each other before a bundle of blankets was brought down and the new father was presented with his son.
Proudly, the man smiled. "Welcome to the Zone, little one... my Ambrose."
