Raw shuffled down the hall, looking almost terrified. At the far end of the hall, Glitch was running behind him, trying to keep up. A moment later, Jeb Cain backed into the hallway, hands raised and moving as fast as he could while walking backwards.

He ducked as a book came flying at his head and turned to watch it sail past before looking back at the doorway and smiling. "Now, come on, Deeg. Just stop." He ducked as a second book came at him and the smile disappeared.

"I won't apologize," he shouted, pointing at her.

"How dare you!" she screeched, reaching for something else to throw. "You stand there and lie to my face like that!" A very pregnant DG moved to the doorway and stopped to take a deep breath - her sudden moodswing had exhausted her.

Jeb took his chance and moved toward her. "Deeg," he said, gently taking her hand in his. "I would never lie to you." His hand moved to her cheek and he gave her a sad smile. "You're beautiful. Why won't you believe me?"

DG frowned and looked up. "Because I don't feel beautiful," she told him, giving him a rather pathetic shove. "I feel fat." Jeb laughed and pulled her close, before pressing a kiss to her temple.

"Well, I don't care what you think. You're beautiful and I'm not changing my mind. Get used to it." DG fought the smile and gave him another light punch.

"I hate you." Jeb let a crooked smile slip and he kissed DG's temple again.

"Love you, too."
