Stephen Connor had a reputation throughout the medical community. Doctors who had heard him speak at conferences or, even the few who were lucky enough to watch him work miracles, revered him for his knowledge, tenacity and skill.

He got results.

Stephen always took the accolades, nodded politely and told the families he was just doing his job. And he hated every minute of it because he really hadn't done anything. His team, however, had. Miles stayed with the patients; Frank found the source; Natalie identified the disease; and Eva did everything else.

Connor considered his only success his team.
