If it's been covered... well, that's a crazy random happenstance. I suffer from title!fail. Also, first Flashpoint-fic. \O/ Thanks to wordsflow for the canon recap.
Disclaimer: The original characters belong to CBS and their respective actors. The OCs are mine.

Jules didn't have to be at SRU for long to know that the guys were up to something. She'd earned her spot on the team and, if they had a problem with it... well, it was their problem.

Rolie, Lewis and Wordy - she was certain - had been in contact with her brothers and had an inside scoop on just which buttons to push. Greg had told her that he'd talk to the guys if things started to get out of hand, but she declined. She wasn't going to go "running to Dad" just because the rest of them couldn't act their age.

Ed wouldn't even talk to her. Jules wasn't sure if it was because she was still new or younger, or if he simply didn't like the idea of a girl on the team. Maybe it was because she got a higher score down in the shooting range during the last qualifier.

Two months and she still felt like she was just... visiting. She'd been on the hardest calls, even saved all their butts on the last one.

Smack in the middle of a double shift, she'd been in the gym, working some of her frustrations out on the punching bag. All she wanted now, was a shower and some clean clothes.

As she turned the corner, Jules heard Wordy and Ed arguing about something, and saw Lewis half-blocked by the corner. He turned around and caught sight of her, then spun back and whispered something. Rolie's head came around the corner a second later and disappeared again.

'Great,' Jules thought, 'they're probably locking me out of my broom closet of a bathroom.'

"Jules!" She turned at the sound of Greg's voice and forced a smile. "Where're you going?" he asked with a grin. Jules glanced down to her sweats and t-shirt and nodded toward the locker rooms.

"I was gonna get changed before we get a call, but I don't think that's gonna happen," she added with a whisper. Greg looked toward the corner and saw Lewis nod to him. Greg nodded and caught her elbow, turning her, and he walked her to the end of the hallway.

He swung wide and Jules saw her teammates lined up along the wall, blocking the doorway, and all of them had goofy grins. Lewis and Rolie stepped right, while Wordy and Ed shifted left.

The "Girls" sign now said "Jules".
