He woke for the second time in as many days in a unfamiliar bed, arm draped over the edge of the mattress, face pressed into a flat pillow. Blinking groggily, Lance shifted until he was lying on his back, turning his head to gaze at Joey.
The other man had his face similarly obscured by a pillow, curled on his side with the covers near up to his neck. His hair, which Lance still wasn't used to seeing grown out, was stuck rather insistently to his forehead, and the older man was nearly tempted to brush it away. But, biting his lip a little, he kept his hands to himself, getting up out of the bed.
It took him a minute to locate his clothes and once he did, one look decided him against them. He dug a pair of basketball shorts out of Joey's dresser instead, tugging them on and heading out to the kitchen to make a pot of coffee.
