Darius was back in New York City. It really hadn't been that difficult to find out where they were taking the money and how they were transporting it. After he figured that out, all that was required was a bit of torture and some murder to set things straight again. At the most, it took him three days. Ah, to be a sadist in this day and age. True beauty.
To the point of the matter, though, Darius had returned to New York to get his money, as per the agreement made between Alexander and himself. Making his way through the bustle of the crowd in Kirby Plaza, and the building in which the Linderman Group inhabited, he finally arrived at the office of Alexander. Briefly entertaining the idea of shapeshifting again, he brushed it off after remembering the man's dry personality.
Without knocking, he opened the door and smiled to the man. "Hey there, Tex," he said casually. "Mind the company of an old stranger?"
