Summary: A certain metamorph decides to go bar-hopping one night.

Darius Sutherland always considered himself a kind, sensible, and mature man. He had no idea, though, why the Hell he'd decided to live in the shithole that was Midland, Texas. There was literally nothing to do in this town, nor nearby Odessa, unless you were a football-crazed Redneck with a penchant for chasing down minorities on the weekends.
Scratch that. There actually was something to do in Midland, then. But he had no intention, nor desire to go chase down a Black, Hispanic, or Asian, nor be chased by a redneck. His only salvation during these bouts of boredom was to see how the local populace of Hicksville acted when a big juicy peice of meat was dropped in front of them.
Which was exactly why he was in this dump of a bar in the first place. Tonight, though, the bar seemed to be a bit empty, save for a few of the regular drunks and junkies that he wouldn't touch if he was nearing alcohol poisoning.
