Peter frowned at his computer. Okay. Freezing. Not good. He clicked the mouse a couple times and ran his finger over the fingerpad, glaring when the little arrow on the screen didn't move.
"Oh don't do this to me now..." he muttered, tapping the keyboard idly, praying for a response and not getting one. Fucking fantastic. New computer and it was already freezing. Not good. And he officially hated the people at Dell. Because they probably planned this because he'd yelled at them for being stupid and not replacing it immediately and asking him all kinds of questions about what a guy based in New York was doing in Odessa, Texas.
"Stupid piece of shit." He hit the power button, grumbling under his breath about having to rewrite the entire essay that he'd just been working on because he may or may not have saved it. Heavy on the may not.
Peter got up from his desk, and wandered into the kitchen, looking around the cupboards for a bag of coffee because he was going to need coffee if he was going to return to his possessed laptop and finish his essay.
And now there was someone at the door.
Peter made an annoyed noise under his breath, fairly certain that the entire universe was against him finishing nursing school now. "Hang on a second," he called, setting the bag of coffee down on the counter and heading for the door.
He paused after opening the door and raised an eyebrow at the stranger. "Whatever it is you're selling, I don't want one."
