Peter yawned into his hand and shook his head a little to get himself to wake up more. It wasn't all that early in the morning, just after ten. And he'd had at least three cups of coffee already. He was just tired because of... last night. Best night of his life and if anyone--especially Nathan or his dad--found out about it, he'd be a dead man.

He stiffled another yawn as he put the rental car into park and unbuckled his seatbelt. And now he had the super fun job of setting up his replacement laptop and then things would get even crazier because he had several pages of reading to download and go over and write a short essay about it and email that back to his professors. It was better then flunking out of nursing school, he knew. Just wasn't how he wanted to spend the day. If he got his way, it'd include a lot more Claire.

Just as he opened the door to his hotel room, his cell phone started buzzing in his pocket. Oh good, something to delay him having to be responsible. Without looking at the caller ID--which looking back on it, was his first mistake--Peter grabbed the phone and flipped it open.

"Hello?"
