Characters: Joey Holmberg, Isaac Mendez and Simone Deveaux.
Summary: Hanging out at his place of employment, Joey is trying to make his phone work after shorting it out and hoping not to short out anything else, like, the cafe's electricity.
Status: Complete.

It was official: technology hated him. This sucked. He needed his phone, damn it. He'd like some other stuff to work, too, but...his phone! He was lucky the computer in the register hadn't shorted out yet, but the way things were going recently he was starting to wonder.
"Come on, you piece of crap," he muttered, closing his eyes and actually zapping it on purpose.
It lit up, played the booting-up music at full volume, and then promptly turned off again.
"God damn it."
He let his head lean against the large chair he'd usurped. So what if there were other customers that were standing around? He was not giving up this chair. He let out a growl of frustration and took a sip of his cappuccino. Well, that helped a little.
