Oh so very private
Peter was purposely on accident losing track of time. Of course he needed to study and write his essay that wasn't due for another two weeks and get a drink with a couple friends and stop by the post office for stamps and grab a six pack from the corner store just in case and browse through a bookstore in search of a book about special abilities before heading back to his apartment.
Well, maybe not needed to but it did succeed in calming him down. Sort of. If he came face to face with Nathan right now there'd be swearing and yelling and something would get thrown but so long as he didn't talk to his brother, then everything would be alright.
Alright clearly meant that he was going to sulk and say as little as he possibly could.
Peter took his time with unlocking the door, noting with a small pang of disappointment that she hadn't put the chain on. That could've spared them a minute or two of this side of his personality where he moped and pouted when Nathan snapped at him instead of patting him on the head and handing him a cookie.
Claude was so right about you.
He sighed and dropped his bag by the door, uncaring that it belonged over by his desk or in his room. He'd get back to college when he got to it. That would most likely be after he made up with Nathan.
"Claire, are you here?" he called, kicking his shoes off and opening a beer from the six pack he'd bought earlier. Fuck the plan of no more drinking around Claire. Tonight called for it. Badly.
