Aaron sat in the waiting room, twirling his rings about and hoping no one recognized him. The last thing he needed was more bad press. After ten minutes or so of staring at a plain white wall, he signed, rising at the sound of his name. He entered her office slowly, like a caged animal just released--not entirely sure if his freedom was true or merely imagined.
"Emily," he said warmly, forcing a smile on his face, door snapping shut ominously behind him. "So nice to see you again." He approached her desk for a handshake.
