AN: This was inspired by a book that while being quite readable was only good in that it made me want to write something a little less convoluted that actually made sense. My first attempt at both mystery and violence. I'm writing this for 12in2008 so it's going to be long term.
Please note folks, in this story, people you like will get hurt and some of them will die.
