maybe you can try by some of her novels ( trust me her mystery novels never disappoint me so far...) it good with the plot story a little complex plus her style never made many characters, so it really easy to read. Plus point she seldom written cheesy romance novel so it pure detective mystery ^^
it's a good chance to buy her novels now ( don't miss Gramedia sales ^^) plus maybe you can get some inspiration for you fanfic too after read her novel ~

It's just the power of magic inside books. Huh. At first I didn't like reading novels when I was a really really young kid; I just like reading comics / mangas... But then I started reading short stories (Chicken Soup for the Souls, I think) and I just start reading novels. XD
