Once upon a time......
A girl named Michelle was late for her dentist appointment.
Michelle was hurrying, trying to get there on time and she was
driving on a street names Jefferson. The speed limit on Jefferson
is 35mph. Michelle was going 50.
Just then a police car passed Michelle, so Michelle slowed her speed
and hoped it would be ok. As she reached 35mphs she glanced in her
rear view mirror and the police officer made a BIG u-turn and started
to follow Michelle's car. However the officer did not put on his lights,
so Michelle watched the car and hoped she was in the clear. Of course though
the lights came on and the officer pulled Michelle over.
Two officers got out of the car and approached Michelle's car. Michelle
hands them her paperwork.
Officer: Hows your day going?
Michelle: umm not so good anymore
Officer: Are you in a hurry to get somewhere?
Michelle: yes i am going to the dentist
Officer: oh you don't wanna go there!
Michelle: no i really don't
Officer: how is your record?
Michelle: it is good
Officer: Ok i am gonna go to the car and run your paperwork
I'll be right back.
**Michelle worries...thinks of how much she can NOT afford a ticket**
The officer comes back smiling.
Officer: ok your record is clean, but you know we puled you over for going 50 in a 35. Heres your paperwork, slow down.
**Michelle just looks at him confused**
Officer: Have a nice day
Michelle: thanks so much
