12 magic events (January 6th)
Something wonderful has happend. Or maybe something terrible has happend with real magic! Or maybe both together!
11 people reaching (January 5th)
Reaching up for something on a high shelf. Reaching for an excuse. Reaching for another person. Reaching for anything you want.
10 signs of danger (January 4th)
A sign on a door, a change in behaviour, a flicker at the corner of the character's eye. Whatever it is is up to you!
9 tough nights (January 3rd)
Some nights go better than others. Maybe it's a simple as someone being unable to sleep or as tough as someone being on stakeout or being attacked. Having a fight with someone, struggling on.
8 masquerades. (January 2nd)
Maybe a masquerade party, maybe just one person wearing a mask, maybe a metaphorical mask or a literal one.
7 unwilling observers (January 1st)
Somebody sees something that they really didn't want to see. Do they not want to be at a play? Are they helpless to stop disaster unfolding? Maybe their friends just won't stop making out in front of them ...
6 questions asked. (December 31st)
Everybody has questions, about everything. What are those questions? About the world? About love? About learning? About someone's past? Any questions!
5 skeletons (December 30th)
Literal bones or metaphorical secrets or something that I haven't thought of!

Maybe literal puzzles, maybe deadly puzzles, maybe just general confusion.

Treats come in all shapes and sizes! Food? Presents? A party? Taking somebody out?

Maybe a canon alteration fic. Maybe someone deciding to be someone else. Maybe just someone getting out of a traffic jam by changing their car around!

Physical? Mental? Maybe a knight with a sheild, trying to save themselves!
