Prof. Axel Schmitt:
I looooooooove him. As the class ends, he's having this "Rock Hammer Award" with a ceremony. That's such a genius way to encourage us to do well. And he really does want us to do well. He gives out these practice sheets and does them with us when he knows we need help understanding a concept. Or remember when he gave us popsicles just so we could understand the melting phenomenon? Or today..he told me to "shut..up." It was funny.
Or how he's really personable. Never awkward. Didn't mind having dinner with just Helen and I. Shared his scary blood fears. Asks us silly questions like "what's the nastiest thing you've ever eaten?" Or how he said "if you see a cop, push Khathy out of the way." Or how he chimed in when we were talking about The Simposons. Or how when the boys wanted Taco Bell he said, "Taco Hell!" Hahahha.
He said we don't wait in line for his office hours though....but I just don't have time!
And he says, "good job." I love encouraging educators.
