FIC: Lavender
This is the first time that I've written fanfiction, so don't be suprised if it's not too good! Criticism welcome.
Warning: Angst (?)

He hadn’t realized that it had begun raining. Looking out, up to the skies above, he sat silently, letting the sound of the pattering rain soak into his soul. A gentle breeze traveled with the rain, carrying the soft scent of dirt and faded lavender to him.
Lips quivering slightly, he slammed the window shut. Cursing silently to himself, he drew the curtains to a close. The rain pounded on the windowpane, softly now, but the faded scent of lavender still lingered.
A slight tugging of his white shirt made him freeze, and unconsciously, his breath froze. Two gentle arms wrapped around his small frame from behind, only slightly, in a warm embrace. Closing his eyes, he could imagine dark skin and long beautiful fingers creating designs onto his plain shirt. The thought made him want to cry.
Letting his breathe out in a series of soft sighs, he trembled slightly as warm lips murmured into his pale neck. “Don’t turn around,” it mouthed, “don’t turn around.”
Silently, he consented; he needed this. Just soaking in the emotions, the love, the bitterness.
When the embrace loosened, his eyes fluttered opened. “Don’t go…” Feeling the warm presence fading into nothingness, he spun around, grabbing desperately in attempt to stop it from disappearing. Just briefly, he caught sight of a sad smile and brown eyes but his outstretched arms only grasped cold air.
Sinking to his knees, he cried silently. The smell of lavender faded.
