A new day
Things finally seem to be turning around for me. I found an apartment a couple of weeks ago, but it looked like I would be homeless for a month before being able to move in. This caused me know and of sleepless nights and anxiety.
Yesterday, however, I heard from the woman who lives in the new apartment that her housing problems have been solved and she wants to be out of the apartment in three weeks. This means I don't have to find a couch to sleep on, a cat sitter, or a dog sitter, and M and I will actually have plenty of time to clean out this apartment before the new tenants move in.
This, and the fact that I found bagels at a local grocery store yesterday, has me feeling much more optimistic about the future. Nothing new on the job front yet, but there are a lot more jobs to apply for now then a month ago.
