Mental taste
Mental has been getting worse when it comes to stealing food: we now have to make sure he can't get into the cabinet with the trash bin, let alone anywhere near his dog food when we aren't home. It is a given that he will of raided the cats' food bowls when we've been away for more than 15 minutes. He is continually finding a taste for new things, like the flour he got into last week or a basket of pears.
But yesterday Mental outdid himself: he licked a glass jar where I was growing alfalfa sprouts clean. Silly, mental dog!
