I've been in Las Vegas now for a vacation since Tuesday. I've also had a terrible sinus infection since Tuesday. Sort of shitty. But I went to the Grand Canyon and walked on the Sky Walk, which was really cool. Went to the ghost town/mining town and got to walk in the old mines and whatnot; really cool. It's just my dad and I, visiting my grandparents here so it isn't like we were planning on going wild.

Just kind of sucks to have to bring a box of tissues with you everywhere and medicine up the ying yang. Along with your head feeling like it's a balloon filled with smoke.

Anyway.

I've had some interesting dreams lately. Two nights ago I had a dream that I was in a new Friday the 13th movie. Not the one that just came out, mind you, just a new one. It was pretty bad. It followed the sequence of a whole movie, intro, climax, conclusion, a real plot, etc. but it was like real life. The people really died! I remembered it vividly when I woke up and most of yesterday but didn't really think too much about it or write about it til now. I remember being chased by Jason, and trying to save two siblings (a blonde brother and sister ages 5 and 3) to no avail. They got killed. I don't remember what happened to me. I might've died, but I know the 'movie' continued to it's completion.

Last night, I had a dream I was in the freezing ocean with Tom Hanks with all my clothes on about 200 feet from the shore. There were these HUGE waves. Not tidal waves, but probably 20-40ft waves. Everything was grey/blue - the sky, the water, the light, our skin, clothes. We stayed afloat for a while as these waves continually came towards us. We'd just resurface; kind of like when you're at the beach and you see a big wave coming and instead of getting pummeled by it, you just kind of dip underneath the surface and feel the force of the wave pass by. We'd just come back up, get air, tread water for 30 seconds, and then have to go back under to avoid the next wave. After about 10 waves, I remember I came back up for the routine gasp of air when another wave crashed right on top of me and pushed me deep in the water. I spiraled around underwater with the force of the wave and ended up suspended underwater in calm waters. I remember thinking that I was fucked because I was in calm waters that weren't moving so I must've been deep down and had no idea which way was up. I just swam in the direction of up and finally realized I was going the right way when I started feeling momentum and turbulence in the water. I surfaced. Breathed.

Kind of odd. I'm not really sure if it's the NyQuil I was taking, or the anti biotics I am taking, or what. The anti biotics I'm taking causes loss of hearing, everything gastrointestinal, rashes, anxiety, paranoia, depression, on top of lots of other things. Strange.
