Excitement at Work
I walked into the back door of the office building this morning and saw a little gathering around my office door. I stoped by a friends office at the beginning of the hall and she told me one of the girls (23 years old) became engaged over the weekend. This is exciting. We all knew she was going to get engaged soon but we didn't know when.
So I meander on down the hallway to the group, which I could not bypass because they were right in front of my door. So for a half an hour I heard her story told and retold. I don't really mind. She is really happy. They are going to plan a wedding for April.
Then aother one of my co-workers (in her 40s, but we all humor her and say she is 35...again) walks up and tells the 23-year-old congrats and that she too got engaged over the weekend. (Talk about shocking news.) Her and her man have been dating for just over a month. They will get married in July.
That is two more down, four more to go. ;-)
