Ask me if I'm happy now. Go ahead.

Six unexpecting interviewees, inadequate in comparison, yet still competing for the same positions as I; five new CD's (Day Rate Cessna's A Colored Screen of the Outside World, Zao's The Funeral of God, Twelve Tribes' The Rebirth of Tragedy, Omar A. Rodriguez-Lopez's A Manual Dexterity: Soundtrack Volume One, and Wall of Jericho's All Hail the Dead); four one-hour-long-drives completely alone--that's not always a bad thing, by the way; three classic books (Ernest Hemingway's The Sun Also Rises, F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby, and Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.'s Slaughterhouse-Five); two hours of waiting after the interview which consisted of "shopping" with Trae (he doesn't know how to shop), smoking outside of the mall in front of the door's of the salon with the really attractive girls working, talking about music with Valerie and Kevin in Hot Topic, and driving in the fucking rain; one two-dollar vinyl of a band I have never even heard of--in fact, now that I look at it again, I think it's a split record between The Rocking Horse Winter and Electro Group--that I bought only because it was two dollars; later, I am working at the American Eagle in Hulen Mall.
