Really, why do we do this to ourselves?
I don't know who said it or when it was said, but I remember someone making the point that if women just stopped fighting with each other they could easily rule the world. The majority of girls are really just ridiculous anymore (including me).
we often assume and judge before taking the time to learn or understand. we can gossip and gab. it gets out of control. we often believe what we are told. rarely question the source or the many times the information has been passed along. usually talk shit about those we believe are talking shit. and even more rarely do we ever actually confront or just ask the person about anything. and why? because its easier this way? or is life just more interesting when drama is involved? or are we just such big fucking cowards that we'd rather say a load of bullshit instead of doing anything about it? i mean, we've proved we're good at talking, so why just exercise that a little bit further?
well, it would be nice if it were that easy. but honestly, i'd love for a girl, or anyone for that matter, to come up to me and say straight up whatever it is that i have done to piss her off oh-so-much. i mean, come on, be an adult about it. don't start a scene to bring attention or look like a hardass, and then confront. be a big girl, and say something to me. don't yell it. dont act it out. have a conversation. say whats up if this problem is so big and worth all the effort we've put into making it be.
but i've tried confronting. when all i'm after is a solution or middle ground, i find it gives girls just that much more shit to say. apparently its too aggressive. supposedly its intimidating. so i've found that not caring is the best way to deal, and i don't. but do care that we are fucking ourselves over in the end. why fight when we can work together? why reduce ourselves to a passive-aggressive, stereotypical life?
either way, i'm just done with it. i'm sick of all this bullshit. and i just don't get it. if anyone has an insight, i'd love to hear it.
