Life is full of weird connections.
I get a message from one of my old GJ friends (~softskeleton on IJ now) on Facebook. We live in the same town (!) and finally got to meet at a rave back in September. She invited me to a party tonight but that was a no go, so she mentioned another party tomorrow night. I checked out the facebook event and I know half the people on there (it happens when you're friends with half the K-W rave scene) and of all odd things, my co-worker Richard might be going and Adrian, the guy I met at the last rave and had a weird friendship and then falling out with is confirmed. Tomorrow night will be REALLY STRANGE and awesome, or so I hope.
I'm currently cleaning my room for an end of work/exams/everything mini-party courtesy of Cait, Mark, Aaron and Jacob. Drinking, (possible) video games, and general awesomeness. I'm vaguely apprehensive because I'm feeling really tired and weird and I don't know how alcohol's going to sit with me, but I think I'll survive.
Home on Monday. Back on the 27th (or so). I'm looking forward to 2009 so much right now, I have high hopes for the next year. Everything's changing again and it seems like it's okay for once.
