(no subject)
today i have been thinking about creation. i read the beginnings in Genesis. often times when i read this i start thinking about technicalities.. like, i wonder if this part is literal or figurative or symbolic because i try to understand it all in a somewhat scientific way. but today i was taking it in by thinking of it as someone not knowing how to explain the beginnings in that sort of way - someone just trying to share the creation in a way that a simple person can grasp. and it helped me think about everyone coming from the same place. we live on the same land today that was created back in the beginning. as i thought about this and walked through my neighborhood, i feel like it was helpful to think about loving others. that the product of thousands of years of selfishness, sin, and destruction has gotten society to where it is today. and though we are all at fault almost all of the time, i know that we can all be forgiven too. sow good seeds everybody.
