"21's old for a rat..."
well. i'm relaxing so far today. it's been ten hours of house hunting with the parents since i've been here. i was okay with it at first; however, it quickly became tidious.
"i don't remember which house that was."
"wasn't it the one with the sun room?"
"no, that was the one with the pink master bedroom :/"
"well no, because that one had the huge walk-in closet at the top of the stairs."
"hmm."
"i honestly don't remember."
that seemed to be the conversation for most of the afternoon. the houses start to run together. bleh. but today is my day :) i think we're going to go see charlie and the chocolate factory today. hopefully it's creepy, or at least slightly dark. then we're going to go out to dinner.
my new phone might come in today, and believe me, that was an issue. since my mom ordered a new phone so i'd have it when i got here, the insurance company called verizon and de-activated my phone once they sent the new one. well, when my mom found out that my phone was covered under warranty still, she sent the new phone back. shortly after we discovered that my phone had been de-activated, we found out that they activated a motorola phone that was floating around somewhere. that wasn't even the same brand of phone that we ordered or that was shipped to us. and then, when we were talking to the people from verizon, the lady thought i wanted to upgrade my phone when all i wanted to do was replace my broken one. so after all this was worked out, my new phone was shipped and should be here either today or tomorrow. one good thing we found out is that i might be able to retrieve my phone numbers from the broken phone. the guy in the store said that we wouldn't be able to get anything else, which means all my pictures are gone, but it's a relief to know that i might be able to get my numbers back. anyway, i mainly wrote all of this to apologize for anyone who has tried to call me and got my voice mail. hopefully i'll be able to have access to those soon.
i hope everyone is having a wonderful day today and i'll probably write some more later.
p.s. i'm crossing my fingers for an iPod. in the meantime, i've been rocking out to my cardboard one; however, i still can't figure out why i can't change the song :/ thanks vonner for that! i miss everyone so much!! xo.
