(no subject)
i got an internship for 98 rock (98.5 fm, a sacramento alternative rock station). i'm totally stoked. i'll be in the office for two three hour shifts a week and another six hours a week i have to be on site (i.e. movie premieres, shows, promotional things of that sort). we share a building with eagle 96.9 (classic rock), kwod 106.5 ("alternative" rock), the end (top 40 station) and a smooth jazz station. it is pretty exciting. my first job is to go to the morning show (rob, arnie and dawn) birthday bash/guy challenge. apparently, there is supposed to be 500 to 700 people coming. crazy. i get to hand out free stuff. it's not the best thing in the world, but it beats getting coffee for people and scrubbing toilets. rock on!
