[After waiting a bit for friends and family who never showed up, Yayoi decided to follow the exodus leaving New Bark Town for Route 29. And thus began the young idol singer's very own Pokemon journey!]

[OH MY GOD THERE'S AN ORANGE DRAGON CHARGING AT HER NOW AND IT'S ROARING AAAAAAAAH]

[... she runs EVEN FASTER. The Rattata flinches and loosens its grip, but it automatically grabs onto Yayoi's hair with its PAWS so as to not fall off.]

[Well that didn't work. Time to give chase before she runs right off a cliff or into a big great thumping hole or something.]

[She's honestly not that fast of a runner! ... but she's not really slowing down or even showing any signs of fatigue, either. Perry's gonna have to really floor it to catch up, but it's definitely doable.]

[and flooring it he does, chasing her down and catching up to her in a few loping strides.]

"rrrrght!"

[that means slow down, I've got the rat in platypus as he reaches out to snag the Rattata off her head]

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAwah!!

[The Rattata comes off, thankfully losing its grip on Yayoi's hair- though Yayoi's head kind of jerks back, causing her to stumble and land flat on her back with a WHOMPH.]

[... however, the frightened rat immediately starts trying to claw and bite whoever's got a grip on its scruff.]

[The Rattata recovered its footing- only to get slammed dead-on by the Charmander's flaming tail. Much the worse for wear, the rat rolled back to its feet and hissed uncertainly at Perry-]

[- only to come under assault by an incredibly angry Farfetch'd, which started boxing the rat on the ears with his leek. This was the final straw- the Rattata SHRIEKED and skittered off, with Scallion still hounding it and quacking in barely-suppressed rage.]

Wild Rattata fled!

[This, of course, left Perry and Charmander alone with Yayoi, who was rubbing the back of her head.] Uuuuu...

Snapping his fingers and the background music returning to normal, Charmander returned to his side as he leaned down. She was a mess at the very least and her Pokemon was off chasing the Rattata still. He looked at Charmander who nodded and scampered off, returning shortly with their bag of supplies.

Kneeling down, he held out a hand for Yayoi and held up a first aid kit.]

Huh? Ah...

[Still in a slight daze, Yayoi took Perry's hand and stood up shakily, using her other sleeve to wipe her eyes.]

I-Is it gone?

Um...? I-I'm sorry, I'm not sure what you're...

[Well, she wasn't screaming or clutching at any body part in horrendous pain- she seems more confused than hurt.]

[Perry sighs silently. Pulls out his Pokegear and texts before holding up his gear to show her the screen.]

Are you alright? Not injured?

Oh! Um... I-I think so..? [Yayoi examines herself- and suddenly winces, her hands going up to her head.] Ow!

[pisforplatypus]

[Perry looks over her head, clucking his tongue as he picks out a small cloth and wets it with the contents of his canteen. And folding it, he places it on her head and picks up one of her hands, putting it there.]

Ah- that feels nice! [She keeps her hand on the towel, and the towel against her head- mostly to the side where the Rattata had clung onto.] I think that mouse tore out some of my hair...

... thank you! Um, I'm sorry for all this trouble...
