New Challenge
This would be #7.
I'm not one to give up, so here's a new challenge. I would very much like to see 10th Kingdom fanfic make a comeback. I don't get away from LJ that much. I know there's a c2 on ff.net, and that there's a Scott fangroup on Yahoo! but I haven't really seen anything fanfic related, website wise or other. There used to be Kingdoms Press and a lot of other things. I know it's hard to get into a fandom for a miniseries that was on many years ago and with the sequal being many years in the future if at all. But there was, and still are, a lot of great writers for t10k and it would be lovely to see people write for it again.
Maybe those of you who are a part of something other than this LJ comm for t10k could rustle up some folks, and I'll get around to posting about it other places as well. Any suggestions for the comm is great as well. Maybe turn it into a ficathon instead, or just a regular fanfic group where fics can be posted any time, with maybe a challenge every once in a while.
Anyhow, the new challenge comes from a Yahoo! article (this one) that details the names of the full moons. January will be used specifically for this challenge:
The Full Wolf Moon. Amid the zero cold and deep snows of midwinter, the wolf packs howled hungrily outside Indian villages. It was also known as the Old Moon or the "Moon After Yule." In some tribes this was the Full Snow Moon; most applied that name to the next Moon.
And it doesn't necessarily have to be Wolf-centric, either. No deadline. Just write!
