Title: Eiri Writes About His Baby Brother
Character: Eiri and Tatsuha (with references about other characters)
Author: caduceum
Rating: PG-13
Theme: character study (?)
Warnings: Nothing except some might find it uninteresting. Maybe a little OOC. Does this still count? I'm a day late for the deadline.
Summary: Eiri doesn't have a deadline and decides to write in his journal as a literary exercise
Tatsuha is a pain. But aren't all little brothers? He comes to my apartment without prior notice and his visits usually coincide with my deadlines. It's so difficult to work knowing that someone just outside my study is either shirking from his responsibilities or planning to prey upon some poor little rich girl or boy who could take him to the hottest scenes in town.
I remember that one time when the son of a huge shipping magnate fell madly in love with him. Why or how is beyond me. Unfortunately for this hapless lover boy, Tatsuha, being a true Uesugi, lost interest after two weeks. More unfortunate for Tatsuha, the guy would not stop pestering him. E-mail. Phone. Radio announcements in all stations that play Nittle Grasper. Even a missing person ad in some parts of Tokyo and Kyoto. Tatsuha was beyond mortified. He tried to explain that he only did this one very kinky but not rare sexual number on HLB (hapless lover boy) and he's cursed for life. He also said that he only did it because he's working his way up the social ladder by sleeping with every metaphorical rung in it until he gets to Sakuma.
Idiot.
I've heard before of the term nonlinear reasoning. It only reminds me of Tatsuha and Shuichi. I'll expound on Shuichi some other time because this is a tribute to my dear little baby brother. Anyway, yes, nonlinear reasoning. Tatsuha. Chaos. Chaotic events that will somehow culminate in a rather clear conclusion. Everything he does has Sakuma in its center.
And because his goal is so well-defined, he was able to get rid of HLB. He introduced him to the friend who introduced him to the trick that made HLB crazy about him in the first place.
This isn't the only incident of this nature that concerned Tatsuha. I just happen to know about it because of Mika. She moves in the same social circle with the wives of the filthy rich and famous. And whatever else those women are, they're merciless gossips first.
As for Tatsuha, I don't know what he's planning for his future. He's probably going to college. No parental units. Overflowing booze. Women who like to flash their tits. I'm not scared for him though. He's single-mindedly pursuing something so whatever obstacle comes to his path, he'll just deal with it with his out of whack solutions.
But why am I writing this? Yesterday, he dropped by with some strawberry shortcakes and Subway sandwiches and told me he loves me and that I should take better care of myself. That's it. I don't know why. I tried asking him if he had a concussion or he's dying. He seems affronted by the implication that he's only nice when there's something he needs. He huffs and then tells me that Shuichi forgot something in our bedroom and that he was asked to deliver it. I just waved at him to get it. He went out with that hideously wrapped yellow box with a tacky ribbon attached to it.
Which reminds me, Shuichi has persuaded me to come to Nittle Grasper's concert tonight because he might be making an appearance. For some crazy reason, the attire is formal so I had my tux dy cleaned the other day. Maybe it's time to get ready.

A few minutes later, Eiri screams and tears out the page of a particular journal entry. He couldn't find his tux in his closet. His cell made a series of beeps, meaning he received an e-mail. It was Tatsuha.
Aniki, u've been pwNd. Don't worry bcos I've already told Shu that u're not coming & he's too frazzled to think about anything else at the moment. U can deal with it...
Hm, u didn't think I'd buy those cakes w/o a reason, eh?
